    It is a shame they didnt go with a UK maker. To be honest I would prefer any sheffield clasp knife over these Purdey folders. Probably perform just as well and at least be UK made :)

    Belt grinder on the unsupported part of the belt above the platten for me too, that puts a natural convex on the edge without any of the hard work.

    Finally got a start on the first of these knifes before duty called again. Pretty happy with it so far. I left the whole tail end of it on to better hold it whilst working.

    Closed die forging is like drop forging, correct? Talking about drop forging, RMJ tactical no longer uses drop forging process on his Shrikes. Everything is CNC machined, now. So our Shrikes will increase value in time!👍
