    I temper O1 at 210c 2hrs X 2 with a cooling in between if that helps you bri , it usually yields 58/59rc .

    Hi guys,
    Sorry if my crap memory is usual at fault..
    I can remember having an old table top grill oven and I was successful tempering..remember an hr but not the temp range!
    Looking at one but it says up to 230 c..
    Any good?

    Whatever you use to temper the knife, make sure you use a separate oven thermometer. The ones in the cookers are not accurate enough.

    Got a couple of lansky sets..and a couple of longstrider strops aswell As My buffer set up.
    Mind I hardly use the lanksy as my secondry bevels in a grinder-strop and finish with buffer does it for me.
