I'm still using a pair of their motorcycle boots, many years old now but still perfect, I'd certainly buy from them again.

Behaving aggressively is/was his biggest mistake I feel, whether or not the outcome would have been any different if the tool had been spotted under different circumstances, who knows?

Yeah I know but why would you say that you use an attachment for something it's not designed for?
I'd like to know which MT he actually had, chances are, it had a dedicated screwdriver attachment.

It sounds like a very poor excuse…

Saying that he used the blade as a screwdriver sounds a bit odd especially if it's a multi tool, most have a dedicated driver don't they.

So many non locking knives have that V shape space too, that really puts me off them especially when the blade doesn't lock.

I found that very interesting and kind of sad at the same time, when one is truly innocent it's only natural to be willing to talk to the cops, well that's how I were brought up.

Same here but if a certain design does happen to make a knife practical/even safer to use, that's the icing on the cake for me.:)

I totally agree, what a waste of tax payers money and unnecessary stress for the OP/law abiding knife collector basically.

I agree with all that basically.

I've never really been a fan of the traditional looking penknife, I know that my granddad carried one, it certainly wouldn't have been expensive because he were poor but I'm pretty sure that the fit &…

Sounds reasonable to me but now you are retired, I doubt that many modern day cops especially, would understand/let it go. Only going by what others have reported over recent years and the whole attitude against 'lock knives' in…

I looked for a Trance 42 but was unable to find one....the XS was the next choice due to the fact I’m left handed and it fit the bill...I brace the pocket clip with my pinky and ring finger and open with my thumb...I’d still…

Can you open the XS in one hand? I find mine almost impossible even after a few years, for that reason I tend to grab the Trance 42, no such problem with that.

I bought the rectangular handled version over the Wave years ago, it's still my heavy duty MT today. I also have the newer curved handle version, bit smaller and lighter but the quality is still above any LM that I've seen.

In my opinion it's the best MT out there, I tend to carry/grab that over all the Leatherman's etc that I own.:)
