    TC Barlows innit...

Really grown to like these little SFO Barlows, the red saw cut bone is very nice. I can see how some prefer the flat squared off slabs on these, it gives them a bit of extra traditional appeal.

Hugh this but it's £15 or was from other sellers. It does need modding though. The curve where the blade rests is too curved, I bolted a flat plate to square it off and 2 strong magnets. I tried it on a kitchen knife it turned out ok, maybe a couple of…

That looks interesting Stu, takes me back years 8) i used to enjoy talking and watching a few lads in the steel works using these and all the other machinery.
One lad had replicated all sorts of parts for an old van, all ti and exotic steels!

Bruce and Paul came to visit a few weeks ago and when i showed him this knife he seemed quite taken with it.
Some of the guys decided it would make a great present, so they all chipped in and bought it for him!

Thanks to all of you, you know who you are…

Remembering today why the late Bob Lum is one of my all-time favourite makers. I remember seeing one of his fixed blades on the cover of a shooting magazine and being instantly taken with it. Beautiful lines, yet distinctively 'unique' to the maker.
