@Oxford_Guy I definitely think you should have your Ti Yeoman modded from what you've said so far about the way you use it.
I'm still carrying my Swiss Champ and don't even notice it on my belt now until I need to use it. Came in very handy a few times and for me the amount of tools on it is a real plus side.
Used to all the time as imo locking blades are much safer than non locking blades to use but unfortunately the law being what it is nowadays I'm trying to follow their mad rules.
Tbh though I could probably carry a fixed blade as I'm not the sort of person that causes trouble or generally likes to draw attention to themselves.

Thanks Platinum as they seem much more reasonably priced. Going to have a good look around before jumping in but there are definitely a few flippers I like the look of on there.
Thanks for the heads up but I wanted one with the Bowie style blade and also £250 is too rich for me to spend on a knife like that.
There must be some decent cheap flippers out there surely. Boker??
thx gmb, glad you liked them.
fairly sure jim bowies knife looked nothing like that matey, but its a nice looking blade all the same. doesn't mater about brand if you like a knife matey, yes hand made knives in the latest shiny steel can be great but so can a 5 quid knife in the sale, its all about what you like the look of, just enjoy them!
Thanks mimozine and I do enjoy all my knives.
This is the first knife collectors forum I've ever been a part of and tbh I'm surprised at how much some of the people on here spend on knives.
Don't get me wrong as I love collecting knives, have spent a lot of money on knives over the years myself and understand the importance of decent materials but I would never consider spending over £200 on a little slip joint folder or other small pocket knife for example.
I enjoy restoring knives which started because a lot of the knives I've bought were used as I bought them from jumble sales/car boots. Looking forward to seeing what I can find this year, ...maybe if I get lucky some nice fixed blades like you've got.
Just looking at the Hinderer XM-18 Bowie blade flipper.
If anyone knows of a company that makes cheaper priced copies of these I'd love to know.
