  • Well, seems like now might be a good time to develops another expensive aspect to my hobby.
    I've a few cheap stones that I've acquired over the last couple of years, but never really got around to trying them out properly.
    So, the question is;
    Should o e start with top quality Japanese natural stones in order to get a proper feel for it?
    Or learn with cheap stones on a crap blade.


    I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this one.
