    Well, I am still going and managed to finish some of my orders. Have not build liner locking folders for some time, but here is one and another slipjoint finished for a customer. Liner lock - blade steel is carbon Damascus supplied by the customer. Handle material is Ivory and the bolsters are Titanium. Slipjoint - N690 blade and spring fluted 303 stainless bolsters and my homemade jigged bone. Thank's for looking. Willie

    Well, the old man is not lazy, so here are two very nice bigger brothers of the previous four. Handle material - South African White Karee burl and some very nice Warthog on the other one. Blades are Bjorkman Twist stainless Damascus with N690 springs. Both knives walk and talk very nice with nice fit and finish. R3600.00 + R500 +- DHL postage. Comments will be appreciated very much.   • Apologies for all the confusion i.r.o the Damascus and Warthog knife. The price is actually R3800.00 including DHL fees. I think we must now work on first come first serve if that sounds fair.     Hi to all and wishing you a very nice year end rest. Attached some knives finished and busy with four Lanys clip folders. Never build them before, but nearly finished I had no problems. Ok, enjoy the view and I am so sorry that they are all Ivory. Keep well, Willie

  • Hallo to all here from dark Africa. Hope you are all well and enjoy the good things of life. I am still going strong and back to my old standard, but with a lot more effort. I have done an order for one of my customers, but will not do it again. The handles for these knives are solid M315 steel and blades are N690. Every things had to be buffed to mirror. Eventually these knives will be engraved and all my buffing will be down the drain. The pins for M315 must be hand made to match. Not so nice.…

    Managed to finish thee knives outstanding for some time. Still have a long list, but I will get to that. For those still waiting for knives, please be patient I will get to them in time. Specifications as follows : Twist Damasteel folder with Mammoth scales and stainless bolsters. The spring is also Damasteel and what a pain to harden and temper. Two small folders in Buffalo horn and South African Taaibos root. Thank's for looking.

  • The one on the Boker I have done with a milling cutter and hand fitted the shield. The other two knives I have done with a master and shields I have ordered from US Kingmakers Supply. Do not know if this is what you want to do, but just wanted to show how it can be done.
