    - would suggest if these were actually made in USA, they'd proudly say so. However, as we know, there's more n more coming out of the Far East - be it China, Taiwan, whatever - that is of a very high standard indeed. Perhaps these guys have the components shipped back / QC / assemble..........whatever the case, they appear to be producing a very nice product - but final say will be after one's in the hand of course. They may well be a tad overpriced for what they are, I don't really know yet....…

I plan to start my first knife in the next couple of weeks at the mall moment I only have a bench grinder and some Emory paper... experiments on lengths of mild steel have gone surprisingly well, but I think I will need more gear for the actual knife. (A belt grinder may have to wait for a greener day!). Are there any shops I can visit in the uk (preferably Yorkshire, but I do travel a bit) that supply knife making stu…

  • Sorry you're disappointed thus far Perhaps, just take a step back and look at the situation: - maybe your design is not what you think it is, perhaps too elaborate, too simple......whatever - maybe the maker you approached is too busy; doesn't like/want to do your design Much depends on matching a design to the right maker......and, perhaps that maker needs to be in the correct situation to respond favourably. Don't worry, don't jump to conclusions If you like, PM me your design and I'll try hel…
