I made this stick using a single block of Spalted Red Beech which was cut into 6 pieces then each piece was filed and sanded to shape getting smaller in circumference as it reached the bottom.
The spacers were made from brass washers, white camel bone, black buffalo horn and red fibre washers. The handle is inlaid in the head with a large mosaic pin. This new walking stick replaces and encloses an old Wilkinson sword stick inside. Below the handle is a Turks head knot made from 3mm black leather cord.
