  • How to make a callout box

    This tutorial will show you how to create a call out box. A call out box is useful for highlighting sections of text.




    When you reply to a thread, a selection of editing tools appears at the top of the box.

    Like this . . .



    Select the text that you want to be in the call out box.




    Now select the little pin then check the box on the very left of the toolbar. It's important that you do them in that order.

    It will look like this . . .



    Nearly there . . .


    Finally, we need to add the colour that highlights the box on the left hand side. Without a colour, the box won't work.

    Add an equal sign = and the colour between the end of the first word scallout and the parenthesis . . .



    And there you go . . .

    When you submit your reply, the call out box appears.


    As you can see, you aren't limited to red. :D
